Merge PDF: free online, private and unlimited

Combine PDF files into one document

Merge PDF puts two or more PDF files together in the order you choose. Add your files, drag the cards to rearrange them or use the arrow buttons, and press Merge PDF. You get one clean document with all pages, ready to send, print or upload. It is the quickest way to join invoices, reports, scans, chapters or application documents into a single file.

How to merge PDFs in three steps

1. Select or drop your PDF files. You can keep adding more files after the first selection. 2. Put them in the right order by dragging, and remove any file you do not need. 3. Press Merge PDF and download merged.pdf. The tool shows the page count of each file and the total, so you can check the result before you start.

Merge PDF without uploading your files

Most online mergers upload your documents to a server. This one does not. The merge happens inside your browser, which makes it a good choice for contracts, bank statements, ID copies and other private papers. It also means large files are not slowed down by an upload.

Need to change the result afterwards?

After merging you can reorder or delete pages with Organize PDF, shrink the file with Compress PDF or number the pages with Add page numbers.

Frequently asked questions

How many PDFs can I merge at once?

There is no fixed limit. The practical limit is the memory of your device, and most computers handle dozens of normal documents without trouble.

Will merging reduce the quality of my PDFs?

No. Pages are copied into the new file as they are, so text stays sharp and images are not recompressed.

Can I merge PDFs in a custom order?

Yes. Drag the file cards or use the arrows. The first card becomes the first pages of the merged PDF.

Can I merge password protected PDFs?

Not directly. Remove the password first, then add the file to the merge.

Is this tool really free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no daily limit and no watermark.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. The tool runs in your browser, so your files stay on your device.

Does it work on mobile and tablets?

Yes. It works in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop, tablet and phone.
