Add watermark places a text watermark such as CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT, COPY or your company name on your PDF. See a live preview of the first page while you change the text, colour, size, opacity and angle, then apply it to all pages or only the pages you choose.
Control how it looks
Set the size from 10 to 200 pt, the opacity from 5 to 100 percent and the angle from minus 90 to 90 degrees. A diagonal, semi transparent watermark protects a document without hiding its content. Turn on Repeat across the page to tile the text over the whole page. Text in other scripts, for example Hindi or Arabic, is supported.
When to use a watermark
Mark drafts before final approval, label confidential reports, show the owner of a proposal or discourage reuse of a sample document. Combine it with Add page numbers for a professional looking report, or with Compress PDF before sharing.
Private and free
The watermark is added in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded and the output has no extra branding.

Can I watermark only some pages?
Yes. Enter pages such as 1-3, 5 in the Pages field. Leave it empty for all pages.
Can I add an image or logo watermark?
This tool adds text. To place a logo, use the Image tool in the PDF Editor.
Can the watermark be removed later?
Watermarks are part of the page content, so they are not meant to be removed. Keep your original file if you need a clean copy.
